BEAST ‘Shadow’ dominates music charts at #1… Lives up to expectation

BEAST’s second full album title track ‘Shadow’ has charted #1 on various daily music charts.

BEAST on the 20th July has recorded #1 on current daily charts such as Melon, Mnet, Bugs, Soribada and other 4 music charts.

‘Shadow’ took over 8 charts not long after Shadow’s release yesterday, followed with various songs included in the album, once again proving their strength as a top contender. The blend of BEAST’s unique emotions, dramatic melody and extraordinary singing skills grabbed public interest. Along with their one step maturer masculinity, BEAST has become the ‘Ruler of Charts’.

BEAST held a press conference for BEAUTIFUL SHOW 2013 on the 21st July, and the members have pointed Dongwoon as the member who has developed the most.

BEAST who is making a comeback after a year of blank period, when asked to suggest a member who has grown the most, all of them unanimously chosen Son Dongwoon.

Lee Kikwang explained, “Dongwoon-gun grew even more as he does his musical. During the recording for ‘Shadow’ too, he did very well in the recordings, wanting to show an even better song”. Jang Hyunseung continued, “All six of us grew a lot during this period, but among us, I think maknae Dongwoon-gun grew maturer in his vocalist. He would randomly sing a high-noted adlibs and it’s good. It’s obvious that his adlibs line became better, and as a Hyung, I feel happy for him”.

Yoon Doojoon expressed, “I want to recommend Dongwoon-ssi as well. He worked very hard. He worked harder than expected. As a Hyung, I am proud and there are many things I can learn from this maknae”.

This was followed by Yang Yoseob, “I want to choose Dongwoon-gun as well. Dongwoon-gun really practices his singing every day. He seems to aim at my main vocalist position. I felt threaten too, so I’ll work hard to take care of my position. Let’s do better together”, he added on wittingly.

Yong JunHyung who is in charge of the producing chose Dongwoon as well. “During the album recordings, I was really shocked. I wanted to take Yoseob’s part and give it to him. It was to that extent. In the future too, I hope he’ll show an even improved look”, he praised.

The main character of the conversation expressed, “This is embarrassing. I feel good about it and I, too, will choose myself, of course”, he joked wittingly and, “Holding a concert after a year.. During this period, I think all of us grew on different aspects, through musicals, dramas, solo albums. [Beast]-The official 2nd album equipped with BEAST's speciality, emotional toughness!

After releasing the hit digital singles <Will You Be Alright> and <I'm Sorry> previewing their comeback in a year, BEAST is finally revealing their official second album [Hard to Love, How to Love].
BEAST held a guerrilla concert titled, <B2UTY GATHER> for the fans who have waited a long time for this new album release and,
The second title song <I'm Sorry> MV was filmed with the fans displaying their care for them.

And finally on July, after the release of the second album, BEAST's solo concert '2013 BEAUTIFUL SHOW' will have it's first opening show finally reaching the highlight of the comeback project.

The new album [Hard to Love, How to Love] can be easily described with the words 'All made by BEAST'.
From the music production to the visual concept, music video filming, art designs… every single area has been touched by the members of BEAST.

In particular, Yong Junhyung and Kim Taejoo who have been acknowledged as producers filling all of Korea with the scent of <Caffeine>, they had easily fulfilled composition and writing for the new album and rose to the top with their producer skills.
Title song <Shadow> is a song with a great, but lyrical mood and like the shadow that disappears when the light disappears
The lyrics portraying the yearning heart of the male disappearing as his lover fades is important to note.

<Shadow> has sweet piano tune on top of a strong beat and the lyrical melody blends right in making the song good enough to pass as BEAST's epic project. If BEAST's natural ways show off in the music, visually, BEAST has been emphasized with the manliness to show off a new look of them. A whole great new scale, a set with a height of 7m, and secretive back drops add the weight and power of this new upcoming album. In addition, the character's emotional changes after a break up has been portrayed to show even more sadness. B2ST Gets Dramatic in Nature for ‘Shadow’

With just a few more days until the anticipated comeback, the B2ST members are cranking up the excitement bar by revealing more photo stills for the new album.

On July 15, Cube Entertainment released individual cuts from B2ST’s second album, Hard to Love, How to Love. 

The photos showed each B2ST member in getting in touch with nature, whether it was lying on the dirt road or walking into a majestic group of clouds in the distance.

B2ST will be releasing its second album on July 19 with a total of eight tracks, including Shadow, which will be the main track. 

B2ST to Include 8 Tracks in New Album

With a comeback soon approaching, B2ST released its tracklist for second album, Hard to Love, How to Love.

The tracklist revealed a total of eight songs, including the previously pre-released songs, I’m Sorry and Will You Be Alright. The title song will be Shadow with lyrics that express a man’s sadness as a loved one leaves, making the shadow fade away without its light. 

All eight songs have been composed and arranged by Yong Jun Hyung and Kim Tae Joo, raising anticipation for the final results as the two have also created Yang Yo Seop’s Caffeine. 

The album will be released on July 19.

BEAST wins first with ‘Will You Be Alright’ on Music Core…Topping even before comeback

B2ST wins Music Core Chart with 7,348 score against CL (5,686) & Lee Hyori (4,930) #WillYouBeAlright1stWin 

Before idol group BEAST performed their comeback stage, they have won first on top ranked music program with only their digital source released.

On the 8th of June, through the live broadcast of MBC ‘Show! Music Core’, BEAST beat off Lee Hyori’s ‘Bad Girl’, and CL’s ‘Bad Girl’, and won the number 1 title.

The results was surprising as BEAST sow this results without an official comeback. ‘Will You Be Alright’ was released on the 29th of May. Composed and penned by member Yong JunHyung, the song expresses the worried heart of a man after breaking up with his lover. BEAST will be making a comeback in July with a new album, once again undergoing activities since their last comeback 10 months ago.

On this day, the members of BEAST expressed their thoughts through a video, “We didn’t expect this. Thank you for giving us such hot support” and “We will be making a comeback soon, so please anticipate.”
